Lake Eildon

Lake Eildon looking beautifully full and pristine now that the drought is over.  I made an obvious error with this layout, wonder if anyone can spot it as it really sticks out at me???  Anyway moving right along, I used the spray mist (blush slushie) to mist the edges of the page with the lake title letters and once misted removed the letters and outlined the space of the letters.  Eildon is stamping.  I made the tag by embellishing the tag and inking it and adding vellum for the journalling so the background can be seen through it and distressed ink the edges of the tag before adding some bling and flowers to it, the button is a brad.  Finished it off by adding a chipboard compass.

Craig's Hut

Craig's Hut, part gravel road and part 4wd to get there, but once there it looked beautiful overlooking the Victorian Alps.  The title is chipboard, the sun is a cardstock sticker, and the vine is a stamp.  That was a beautiful day, totally loved it!

2012 Scrapbook

I am currently working on 2012's album.  The year started off with us off caravanning at Mansfield, Victoria.  I used a few different techniques with this layout.  The happy campers title and arrow are chipboard and I used Maya Roads spray mist to colour them.  It is so much easier using the mists than having to use paints and a brush and the end result is an even coat with only a couple of squirts, love them!  The mansfield title and travel shield are both rubons and A moment in time wooden embellishment was made for me by a friend.  I used walnut distressing ink of the edges of the patterned paper, which is one of my favourite products at the moment, just love the way it can tone down brightness and what a completely different look it can bring.
